In approx 1 week i will be deleting my LJ account or at least not using it anymore.
Anyone who was on here either talks to me IRL or they dont and im not to keen on sifting throu everyone's personal thoughts.

Its not that i dont care, I simply fell that this livejournal thing is a futile effort, i started it thinking that more fols would connect with me but in the end, less folks have.

So if your out there and you really feel like keeping in touch or wonder why i dont know things aobut you or your life or wonder why i dont care about something in you rlife or why im not talking to you anymore.

Its because your not talking to me.

I have found that there are aspects of my life that i simply dont outright share with the rest of the world unless specifically asked, some things can be quite obvious such as my being a male, or the fact that i own a ford escape.

But there are other things that folks dont know because either:
a) They dont care to know
b) They dont care too look or pay attention
c) They dont ask.

Then from those same folks i get "well you never talk about [insert thing here]" or "why didnt you tell us [important thing here]"

Simply put, if i tell you thing then, i deem you worth of knowing such things, dont be offended if i dont tell you something it simply means that either:
d) I dont think you would care to know
e) I dont think it is important to what we are talking about.

That all being said, if you dont feel like ive been honest with any of you, take a look at the five rules (reposted form above):

Saw an episode of smallville that i really liked.

SPOILER ALERT!

In this episode, brainiac kidnaps lex luthor, converts him to a kryptonian, and returns him to earth, later to place the soul of Zod into Lex. Clark finds out and sets to kill Lex but is stopped by brainiac and his non-killing personality, clark destroys brainiac not knowing that brainiac was the container of Zod's soul.  Zod is then transferred into Lex.

There is a couple battles, clark gets his butt kicked and then Lex sends clark to the phantom zone. In the zone, clark finds and ally who gives him a wepon created by his father Jor-El. Clark escapes the zone to confront Lex.

In the near final scene Lex beats clark to a mess and stands above him. Lex looks at clark and says.
"Kneel Before Zod"

I jumped up clapping and squeeling. And just like S3, clark kneels, and Zod/Lex stretches out his hand, clark reaches to embrace it, to which Zod's arm goes into agonizing pain. Clark says, "My father sends his regards" And traps Zod in the wepon he gont from the phantom zone.

Very cool episode.

AC started flooding the attic again.
Drain was not clogged this time.

Since my warantee is log since over and it just costs to have the repair guy come down blow air int he draing and charge me 175 for that i decided to find out the problem myself.

I took the AC unit paneling off and discovered, that the thing shad been put together incorrectly. Inside of most ac units wher ethe coils are, there is an interior drip pan that collect condensation from the coils, drans to a pipe which usually goes outside. In most units this iside pan is angled and the draing is at the lowest part of the inside pan.

We min wasnt, they installed the drain at the highest part of the pan, so it literally does nothing.

So thats and easy fix!

I look fan fraking tastic in my new specs.

Doc prescribed them to combat my eye strain and fatigue whil eat werk (im a programmer, software).

They seem to be helping a bit.

Still colorblind tho, i dont think they cured that yet, although the glasses are allowing a correct amount of focal light into my eye, for the first time in a very long time i can almost see bright colors again.

My nose is back to fn with my mind rather than killing me with every ingrideint in the world. I got the smelling back for 3 brief weeks, and i had enough, now im back to randomly smelling rot and chlorine, at least i know how to deal with those.

And the AC guy fell through. (methinks he stepped in the wrong place)
Hes fine, but the ceiling now has a square yard hole in it.

Some folks say its not the road you travel on its the destination, others say its not really the destination, but the path you take to get there.

They are full of crap, without a destination there can be no path and if you have no path to take then you will not have a destination.

Its very simple really. There are goals in life and there are means to those goals, sometimes those goals are very simple. Alot of folks lose sight of what having a goal means. A simple example is a purchase of a loved item. If making tha tpurchase is the goal then you will work toward that goal and create a path to that goal. Likewise if you have no way to work or to create the path then it will never really be a goal for you to purchase that thing.

That seems simple, right? Heres how that works, you make goals that are attanable,, not impossible, if you have a large goal that seems impossible, break it up into smaller, more plausible goals.

Having a goal is the first step, but you cannot make a goal for yourself without a way to get there, even if you have to create a way.

BOTH are important, not just one or the other.

But what is the purpose of a goal, a goal in and of itself is not a yeilding agent, its the effects of that goal that you really wish to obtain. For instance if your goal was to hang out with a certain someone, then the effect of that goal would be kinship, fondness, understanding, and freindship, etc...

So to get to the bottom line, you MUST have GOALS and more importantly ways to reach them. For if you have no way to reach your goals, you have no goals, and if you have a path to get somewhere but no destiation, you will wind up anywhere, or worse, you will wind up where someone else wants you.

So some of yall know i gots me a case of Anosmia (the inability to smell, as a disease) and Phantosmia (the presence of smells where ther are none, as a disease).

My doc reccommended as first treatment minerals. Which i have been mining in my back yard diligently for the past two months. Actially i just take a centrum knock off. Well I TOOK them.

Once my anosmia went away, things started to change around me and now.... I can barely stand the smeel of the world. In the words of Mr Smith, "Its the smell" THE WORLD STINKS.

On the other hand the phantosmia did not go away and now im left with alternating world smells and the smell of rot or chlorine.

Being that this isnt really a crybaby issue, i just submit this for consideration, the DOC says that the reason i havent been able to eat or have an appetite, is because i can smell my food now.

On the bright site i have lost 20lbs since katsucon.

Background
I think i may have lost my smeller when i was a kid after accidentally breathing in flames from a burst spraycan thrown into a fire when i was camping. 
Gradually over the years i had no had the ability to smell most ordinary smells. The smell would hav eto almost over whelm a normal person before i got a whiff of it. For the longest time i thought bath and body works sold pigmented soaps and creams, some of which i had no idea had a smell to them. This is pretty much the extent of my Anosmia. I can however, smell some things that are pleasent to me and that i like.
Things can smell that i like:
Most perfumes and colognes
Cake
Cookies
Laundry. (the fresh linin smell)
Certain flowers, typically the thorned branch kind like roses.
Orange or orange smell.

On the severe stress producing side, the phantosmia causes me to smell usually one of two smells, almost randomly although a sneeze or cough can produce the smell. and they are strong to me, sometimes enough to water my eyes. Those two smells are ROT (rotting flesh or garbage) and chlorine, like when a pool has been over treated or you get pool water up you nose. And belive me its disturbing.

Side effects
Other than the usual symptoms i have listed above there are a few quirks. Lik esome bad smells smell ok or neutral to me, lik eskunk, usually smells like burnt coffee. And i hav eleanred that people have individual smells sometimes, not like BO. Some folks naturally seem to smell nice whil others smell bland, with almost no smell at all, and i hav enothing to compare that to.

Conclusion
THE WORLD STINKS, i wish i could go back to the way i was but it seems that the vitamins already worked thier magic. I would, however like to get rid of this phantosmia completely...it sucks.

Unrelated sidetracks
Dont feel bad tho im just explaining some things, after all i am still colorblind and contrast deficient (i cant really see "bright" colors).

And there is tha tthing about other senses taking over when one or more fail.... but then if i told that story, most of you would be skeptical, i mean dont they lock folks up for having 6th senses?

Happy April Fools Day

After 13 years of costuming and cosplay, i have decided to give it up... at leasst for a little bit. 

I just lost view of what was really important, and one thing i noticed was that all this time going to conventions and doing costumes that i had neglected the very core of my life, my wonderful darling radish collection.

I had over 150 specimins prior ro 2001 and over the course of those few years i had dwindles my collecting to 2 a year (i typically got 15 a year prior to that) flash forewar dto today where i just realized that i had not even got a radish from last year, not one, not even as a christmas present.

So i have decided to bequeath my entire costume arsenal to the local thrift store here in Woodmill where i live.

I know this will dissapoint some of you and sadden others, but it is for the best.

Also, this does not include any of the bondage gear or leather wear i have collected over the years, i do not consider those to be as wholly consuming as the costuming, besides i just cant give up my leather thongs.

Anywho its no big issue, i still interface with those who hold close... or at least i try to...lol

So i got to fiberglassing again (much to one of your giggleing delights, thanks "A" for making me feel like my mundane and prostative, yet tedious and required assembly proccess was much admired)

Anywho im not about to reveal all of my secrets but here is my "basic procedure" for reinforcement.

1) Glue fiber matting to peice to be re-inforced, I am using spray glue very conservatively
2) Apply mixed resin to fiber on peice
3) After step #2 is dry, apply another coat of resin
4) trim off excess fiber/resin
5) glue in padding
6) attach trim (if applicable)
7) accoutrements
8) painting

After Katsu, alot of folks got sick and i mean ALOT.
Not me tho, i still feel the same level of crapinees that i did when i went.

I drank like 4 red-bulls ever day of the con, i dunno if it was relevant.

I came to an epiphany that i hadnt made any really "new" costumes in a while so i decided to go fresh with 3 replacement sets to cover somethings ive been shelving lately.

Some of you already know of themand thats fine.

I even already have an offer to round out a cosplay group, or three?

LOL make a few comments to freinds and they come out of the woodwork for awesome costumes/cosplays/whatever.

Now it sounds a bit egoist? no i am jsut prepared to be excellelent like i always to so i can strive for excellence.

BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE EXCELLENT IF YOU DO NOT THINK YOU ARE EXCELLENT.

Remember the first step in your success is to belive in your success , not to believe in your trying really hard...

An i dea i had while contemplaing iron cosplays. Send a costumer in a room of randomly chosen and chosen by somebody else, of costume parts. The costumer has to come up with as many unique combinations, wear them, and do it as quickly as possible.

Get it all on tape and you have a new concept, CRAZY COSPLAYER

Ear not getting much better exect the pain is not remnant of once a day stabbing in the sid eof my head, usually when i wake up. The Tinnitus has got to go tho, its pretty bad and on both sides. Also probably due to particles adhereing to hte eardrom in the sick ear, ive got like 30% hearing los sin it RN and it feels like i got an eraser stuck up there.

Been working like mad to get these hammers done, all to come down to painting days and look what happens: we get some below zero temps and a 50MPH windstorm on my main painting day. No matter, I found another way...handpainting at the cost of my eyes and back...grr.

Ive named the hammers as such: WAR, ROGUE, and "The CHALLENGER"

Oh is anyone having trouble using therir [delete] key in LJ?

I got the new power sources for the powered much pack squared away, so now i can run it for 6~8hrs.
